Schools are only required to waive tuition and mandatory fees.

Eligible students may receive the tuition waiver for up to 5 years. The 5-year period is defined as 10 semesters or the equivalent, consecutive or not, until age 26.

Yes. You must submit a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA®), a PA Chafee Education and Training Grant Program Application, and PA State Grant application items for the award year in which you are requesting a waiver.
- Is there anyone at my postsecondary institution who can help?

PA Title IV-eligible schools are required to designate one or more staff members at each campus to serve as a Point of Contact (POC) for eligible students. The POC can help you:

- Identify further scholarships and grant opportunities
- Find referrals for on and off-campus resources and support services
