Did you know?
- You DO NOT need to complete your taxes to submit the FAFSA. Just use estimated income and tax data and make any changes after you (or your parents) file your tax return. You may later be asked to supply actual tax returns to verify accuracy of estimates.
- More than 94% of students apply online. The online form saves you time, prevents errors, and has a faster turn-around time than the paper application.
- Your schools will receive your information faster if you apply online.
- If you have a complicated family situation, it may be difficult to know whose tax and income information you should use. Do not let it stop you from applying. Complete as much of the FAFSA as you can. Then, contact your school’s Financial Aid Office for assistance.
- Each year, PHEAA holds FAFSA Completion Help events in February and March to help PA students complete the FAFSA.
